These grants must be used for professional development purposes, such as continuing education, coaching, workshops, or courses. You may assemble a professional development package of services that includes multiple types of professional development. For example, you may request to attend a training institute and have three follow-up sessions with a coach.

Funds must be primarily used within the 2025-2026 grant year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). However, we know that the timing of programs may differ; therefore, we have extended the timeline until December 31, 2026.

The estimated grant range for an individual is $2,500- $5,000. For groups of women applying together, the range is $5,000 – $7,500.

Applications are due by April 10. Decisions will be announced by mid-May.

Grants are made only to tax-exempt organizations that qualify under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Grants will not be made to individuals.

JWFA’s Women’s Leadership Grants are funded in partnership with the Zalik Foundation
