Women’s Leadership Grant: Process and Application
JWFA offers a limited number of Women’s Leadership grants to promote professional development for the women leading our community’s nonprofit organizations, congregations, and day schools.Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2025 cycle.
To qualify as an applicant, you may either:
- Be a Jewish woman in Atlanta serving in a senior level position for a Jewish non-profit organization
- Be a group of Jewish women who work together in senior level positions at a Metro Atlanta-based Jewish non-profit organization.
Please note: Women working in local or regional offices of major national organizations are eligible to apply.
We are no longer accepting applications for 2025.
- These grants must be used for professional development purposes, such as continuing education, coaching, workshops, or courses. You may assemble a professional development package of services that includes multiple types of professional development. For example, you may request to attend a training institute and have three follow-up sessions with a coach.
Funds must be primarily used within the grant year. However, we know that the timing of programs may differ; therefore, we have extended the timeline for an additional six months. The estimated grant range for an individual is $2,500- $5,000. For groups of women applying together, the range is $5,000 – $7,500. Grants are made only to tax-exempt organizations that qualify under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Grants will not be made to individuals.
JWFA’s Women’s Leadership Grants are funded in partnership with the Zalik Foundation.
