Amplifying Our Mission Through Action and Learning

At JWFA, our education and advocacy efforts amplify our mission and grants portfolio. Examining critical issues through a Jewish and gender lens brings challenges faced by Jewish women and girls to the forefront of the conversation.

“It is crucial to know that the times your daughter may make you feel powerless, you are a primary force in fostering her overall well-being, and teaching her the skills she needs to fulfill her potential in every area of her life from here forward.”

Kimberly Wolf, author of Talk With Her, from her JWFA workshop with teen girls and parents

Impact Forums & Community-Wide Programs

Impact Forums are dynamic opportunities to gain insights from experts, forge meaningful connections, and be inspired by JWFA's incredible Grantee Partners. JWFA also hosts community-wide programs, seminars and discussions on pressing topics relevant to JWFA’s mission.

"Change the Culture" Summits

Our two groundbreaking “Change the Culture” Summits addressed sexual harassment, sexism, and gender discrimination in our Jewish workplaces and communal spaces. Along with raising awareness, these summits resulted in new and updated policies across many Jewish organizations in Atlanta.

“The work that JWFA is doing to advance issues around safety, respect and equity in our community is vital to our work at AJC.”

Dov Wilker, Regional Director, American Jewish Committee

Critical Issue Statements

JWFA releases statements on critical issues facing Jewish women here in Atlanta, the US, and Israel. From demanding justice for the victims of sexual assault on October 7th to the demise of Roe v. Wade, JWFA's voice is heard when it matters most.

“JWFA’s mission could not be more critical or relevant today…this includes our many investments in Grantee Partners in Israel, the US and Atlanta working specifically to end violence against women. We firmly lean into our longstanding work to seek justice for and reaffirm the rights and protections due to Israeli women and girls. The facts about sexual war crimes have been thoroughly documented by many of our own Grantee Partners, whose work in real time, on the ground in Israel bear irrefutable witness.” - JWFA Statement on the October 7th tragedy
