Investing in Women Leaders as Catalysts for Change

JWFA recognizes the importance of empowering women to create positive and lasting impact in their communities through skill development, collaboration, and personal growth. Through our Agents of Change Training (ACT) personal development program and Women's Leadership Grants (WLGs), we're investing in the future female leaders of our community.

“It’s been an incredible opportunity to be a part of something that looks at us as women and says ‘I believe in you and I want to help foster your growth so you can not only make a difference personally but also impact your entire community.’”

Jenna Shulman, CEO, Jewish Educational Loan Fund, JWFA Women's Leadership Grantee

Our Women-Centric Development Programs

Agents of Change Training (ACT) Personal Development Program

JWFA's Agents of Change Training brings together a committed cohort of women to explore how their life experiences shape their core values, strengthen their leadership, and deepen their personal impact. Through individual reflection and group learning, ACT enables participants to grow with purpose, build lasting connections, and lead with authenticity in their lives and communities.

Eligibility: ACT is open to all women in the Atlanta Jewish community, ages 25+, who support JWFA's mission and are seeking personal growth, community engagement, and meaningful connection with like-minded peers.

Women's Leadership Grants (WLGs)

Women's Leadership Grants elevate local Jewish communal professional women's skillsets and leadership abilities. Developed in partnership with the Zalik Foundation, WLGs directly strengthen Jewish organizations and our greater Atlanta community by providing coaching, conferences and advanced skill certification opportunities.

Eligibility: Any Jewish woman in Atlanta serving in a senior-level position at a Jewish non-profit organization, or any group of Jewish women working together in senior-level positions at an Atlanta-based Jewish non-profit organization, or women in local or regional offices of major national organizations are eligible to apply for a WLG.

“ACT reoriented me, helped me reset my values…and helped me remember who I was and how to reinvent myself. I now put myself out there in ways I would not have had the confidence to do before. I’m so grateful.”

Rebecca Aqua, ACT Cohort 3

Power Our Mission

Your support helps JWFA invest in impactful solutions that create lasting social change for Jewish women and girls.

“Like many who work in nonprofits, my responsibilities are quite varied. Some tasks come with ease…others are new and the learning curve is steeper. Thank you, JWFA, for allowing me to level up my skills and help JIFLA extend financial support to Jewish communities across Georgia.”

Stephanie Gewirtz, JIFLA, JFWA Women’s Leadership Grantee
